Why are we here on a free board at all? It is to air grievances, get a nugget of inside info, and find crumbs of hope. Generally, this time of year is the time for false fantasies, hope in the new the recruiting class, or discussion about returning starters. or where former huskers will go in the draft. College football, in its gutted state, offers none of this off-season entertainment. We have new players and coaches, from mid-major programs, nobody getting drafted in the top 3 rounds, a recruiting class of 11, and the one thing we could rely on, a soft big 10 schedule, is suddenly not so. At the very least we could have watched Rhule squirm without an extension and known that our program and state were holding him accountable by withholding his next contract...but alas.

It ain’t likely coming back under Rhule anyways. 500 coach. Can’t beat a Top 25 team. Poor in-game manager. Too slow to react to the challenges of the Big-10. Makes poor choices in assistants (jury is out on recent hires). Talent evaluation is hit and miss. Has no fashion sense.
He speaks well and I think overall he is a good guy. He is like an overpaid Mike Riley that doesn’t dress as nice.
IDK why you are here. I still enjoy Nebraska football. I am hoping it continues to get better. But no amount of me saying Rhule sucks. the extension was stupid, Rhule is a used car salesman and a preacher is going to change anything. So I suppose I do come here for a bit of info on the roster so I am at least educated on what the make up of the team. However, I go to twitter for the inside info because I get it sooner than I would on here or anywhere else because everyone has social media and they all want everyone to know what is going on in their world.
