anything with a kj reference should be pulled. They will lose to Iowa by 20. Another team that shoots well.
Years ago we went to Iowa as a heavy underdog (no surprise) and caught absolute fire from 3 and basically ran them out of their own gym by halftime. We are so due for a Cats barrage from 3.
I would like to see a new starting line up today. Collins lineup from usc game has lost its luster
Today's result, though not what I wanted, I can live with. Effort was there, but some mental mistakes cost us. But West us a baller (that dunk was OMFG Sportscenter worthy, and his 3pt ability, ballhandling, and passing were great), Singleton is the real deal, and I'm now a believer in Kropp as a future solid contributor. All hope is not lost, and some good vibes may yet find their way to us before this painful season wraps up.
That was January of 2011 - my first year living in Iowa. I made the hour and 45 minute drive to Iowa City on a cold Wednesday night. I sat near the top of the arena and literally didn’t see another NU fan the whole night (I’m sure there were some others there, I just didn’t run into any).
NU dominated. I think we were up by about 30 in the 1st half and it never got close. I think we won by 20 or so. Shurna, Crawford, Juice, Cobb…that was a fun team.
I’ve had so many crappy NU sports experiences in Iowa City - a lot of losses, some big blowouts in football and basketball - but that was a good one.
