Don't worry. Ben will make sure the Hawkeyes get the Ws. He came to Iowa to keep on winning, and he's doing it this year with a roster full of "mid-major" talent. That Drake team looks damn good in black and gold.
good chemsitry and players having played together for a while sure helps
some of these teams that are constructed via the transfer portal are struggling (the biggest example is Kentucky)

Because if not for some very questionable refs calls and one more timeout to challenge that out of bounds call late in that game we might have beat them on there own court
Why stop at Elite 8?? Every national champ since Kenpom started recording statistics, has had a top 21 offense and a top 44 defense (entering the tourney), sans that Uconn team that got hot. Keep it up and I'm dreaming of cutting down nets!!

it would be great, but Iowa is not going to be there in the end. Alot of tough games left in regular season. JMOThat would be a shame if the Clowns don't make the Elite 8 and Iowa does.
it is kinda crazy how we end up scoring in the upper 70s (or more)
Especially when one guy has half the team's points, like today.
Yeah difference between this and Lickkiter is Iowa still usually ends up in the 70s or 80s but Lick's teams more like 50s or 60s

I knew Lick's numbers would be bad, but not THAT bad (especially on defense).
The Lick days were the only time in my life I didn't want to watch Iowa BB. It was a depressing display of a beautiful sport.

His last season, I actively tried to miss games by not paying all that close of attention to the schedule.
Only time I've ever done that, or even considered it.
(although if FM had been retained and was still coach, I would likely already be checked out on this season & praying for a coaching change in the Spring)
