Always an Iowa fan so didn't really pay much attention to Nebraska until they joined the B1G.
After Bo Pellini left, they weren't going to be much of a threat, the program went into the crapper and it's kind of a given they lose to Iowa for some time

I don't have any family members, friends or aquaintences that are Husker fans. There was a Husker fan in my high school back in the day if I remember right.

I'm not a Husker fan but have been to games when Iowa played Nebraska at Memorial stadium.
The kid at my highschool, who was a Husker fan, kinda reminds me of you a bit.
He had to go to classes most of the day in the same room and have a school associate sit with him at lunch.
We'd ask him "Jerry who's the Nebraska coach?!?!!".
