I would love to see us pack the house because the women deserve it. The current rankings has Louisville moving up to the 6 spot. This is a really good team and exciting to watch. I also
Like the fact that we are red shirting players to give them more time to develop for next year. I also love the fact that we are getting bigger players which has really made a difference.
I really didn’t know what to expect this year so this is a pleasant surprise. CJW and staff has done an excellent job of evaluating talent and meshing it together. I hope we continue our the current trend as one of the nations top teams. Go Cards!!!

This is going to be a good game both teams have good height. Their leading scorer is Toby Fournier she is 6’2”. Both teams match up with each other physically. I guess the size of both of these teams is the reason both of these teams has had so much success this year.

We have gotten off to a bad start the Duke defense is really bothering us. We need to get into a transition game before Duke sets up.

This is an awful start we better get our offense into a transition game. We also need to play better defense. We are down 13-1 and Duke looks way better than us right now.

First quarter was a disaster 23-11 DUKE. I hope we can recover from the start Duke is playing better defense, rebounding and scoring. Right now they are beating us in every aspect of the game. We need to do some damage in the 2nd quarter.

This is awful to watch shot selection is poor and on top of that we are missing wide open layups.

Right now the only thing going our way is that Duke doesn’t have a deep bench. Their starters are starting to look worn out. I hope they can’t keep. Up the pace of the game.

We have to do better rebounding we have everyone on the perimeter so there is very few offensive rebounds. The way things are going we have to make adjustments. The guards need to stay at the top of the key and the bigs need to be in rebounding position. The difference in this game will be the rebounding.

We cut the Duke lead to 3 and then because of careless play and poor shot selection Duke pushes it back up to 8. This is the worst game I have seen us play all year.

End of the 3rd quarter we are down by 3. It sounds good but every time we get close Duke answers. Let’s hope it is different this time. We have to keep rebounding the 3rd quarter was our best rebounding point in this game.

8:23 left Louisville takes a 3 point lead on a 3 pointer from Zeigler. Something I like about Berry is when they throw a pass to her she doesn’t stand flat footed and wait for the ball to get to her. She moves towards the pass, there have been a couple of plays where kept Duke from stealing the ball because of that.

I love it the Cards are huddled up and Zeigler is in the middle shouting orders and she has their attention.

Unfortunately I do not think we will pull this game out to many mistakes and missed free throws.

Louisville is appealing out of bounds but it is off Zeigler but Fournier should have been called for a foul.

Wow Berry at the line can tie the game with 1.1 left in the game she missed the 2 nd free throw. Game over Duke deservedly wins the game we did not play well at all. Too many missed free throws bad rebounding the first half , poor shot selection and did not take care of the ball.

The good thing is we learned a lot and the coaches know what we need to work on before the tournament. Sometimes when 2 good teams meet each other the home team doesn’t always have the advantage. Duke came in and played like they were behind from the beginning. We took the home court advantage as if we were the winner and didn’t have the same focus Duke had.

Definitely one we should have won. We were intimidated at times by their size and missed several layups. Also as mentioned, missed several free throws from normally very good free throw shooters.

Got literally nothing from Taj Roberts last night … 0 points, 0 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal but 2 turnovers in 23 minutes.

Should have given Fournier a saddle on that one, and she wouldn’t have had to rake her hand across Zeigler’s face trying to climb up her back.

Ref who missed the foul call had to go over and review the play. Probably should have resigned on the spot after rewatching that play.

If we would have hit our free throws we would have won by 8. That being said we will probably meet each other again in the tournament. I think we need to have Berry in the game earlier she is a good all around player. She makes a difference when she’s in the game. I know it really hurt her when she missed the 2nd free throw.

On the bright side we now know what it is like to face a good pressing team. I thought we should have pressed them more. Teams that like to press usually don’t like being pressed.

I think Duke's size and athleticism really got to us early, but we adjusted and could have pulled out the win.
Not sure we followed our scouting report because we challenged some pretty springy 6-4 women and got our shots blocked. I'll give Duke credit, they were ready, played tough defense and hit some big shots.

Free throws and some ridiculously open layup misses added up, I wouldn't mind playing them again.
