I think it depends on how far inland the system off the coast pushes inland.
The coast is very likely to get hit.

Here's the latest forecast for Greenville that I can find but as you know it can change quickly depending on the Magic 8 Ball being used ;)

  • Friday night: 40% snow chance after 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15.

  • Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 9.
  • Sunday, Feb. 1: Sunny, with a high near 28.

Sunday is gonna be so cold, it's not gonna melt in shady areas. Better brace yourselves for more school e-learning or delays on Monday.

Who's naming Winter storms now? Is there a Cold Front Frank in our future?

Down here in Savannah, too. We may get 2 years in a row with snow. That never happens.

I blame Al Gore.
Last January after the snowstorm passed, I was passing by Savannah on I-95 while headed to Florida. I was amazed at the amount of snow that had fallen. Worse, large sheets of melting ice and snow were sliding off the big trucks traveling the interstate. There was a definite terror factor going on.

My parents in Greenwood said they are expecting 6-7 inches, but also said the prediction depends on which station you watch. lol

I'm skeptical, so I told them to take some pictures tomorrow.

I am in Greenwood. We expect to see something. Boom or bust. Bust would be 1-2". Boom would be 6-8". Depends on the snow bands.
