Rutgers tied with OSU for second most B1G preseason AAs on Inside Lacrosse with 4. Maryland has 5. 4 is a high number. Most teams aren’t reaching near that and only a few exceeding it. Best part is we have elite players at every level.

Taking the scrimmage results with a grain of salt as I don't know how our starters matched but I'm curious about our offense. In our best years it felt we were a downhill team with a crazy transition offense but recent yrs the reliance seems to defer to defense/goalie and has kept us in games. I'm sure the Beida hire will only be for the better but what's the identity of our '26 squad thus far? In the past couple years I've been hesitant to optimism (Rutgers Fan curse) but this year feels different.
