It wasn't joke. It was obvious sarcasm that should have easily been able to be identified. It didn't require an emoji, but some people don't have a sarcasm detector, and thus why it would help.
thanks buddy...as long as one guy gets it i'm good :)
honestly i feel like adding an emoji takes away some of the effect...maybe cracking jokes with a straight face isn't a thing anymore
that said i acknowledge that i've made posts that i'm not proud of

Not everyone can handle the Anthony Jeselnik style.

Well, props to be able to admit it. That's growth *sappy, heartfelt, uplifting music plays in the background*

That's great, of course. Still, I wonder how many starting P4 QB's will be guys who came to that college out of HS.

Iowa hasn't had a HS recruit play QB since 2022, and one likely won't this upcoming season, either. Gotta wonder if J Sully and/or this guy will ever see the field for Iowa.

Just sayin'.
Very accurate observation. I really like the decision that Kirk and company made not to pursue a QB in this cycle. We will fare far better IMO with QBs who have spent time learning the offense and working with Lester.

It seemed that Iowa pursued a deliberately different strategy in the portal this time. They brought in young guys at positions of need hungry to develop and in most cases move up a level. I have long maintained that the portal/NIL remains a work in progress. Really like how Iowa seems to have adapted to it.
