I don’t have much to say other than the UK fans we talked to last night were good people, knowledgeable fans and we had fun talking hoops with them.

I’ll give my opinions on what I watched if you want an outside perspective but if not, will just say that I hope for the best for you guys moving forward.

I fully expected to lose after hearing Duke Miles was out.

Love y’all and here’s to both teams making runs in March.

I am a fan of Pope, loved that 96 team, but I saw a poorly coached team last night. I saw confusion on defense and poor shot selection on offense. Oweh should drive it 20 times a night, and as good as he was, he’s just better.

I think the team lacks an identity and I think the roster construction wasn’t good and that was before the injuries.

There are a lot of mismatched pieces on this team.

All of that said, I’ve watched close to half of UK’s games and I’ve seen them play MUCH better basketball than I watched last night.

I was not in the Pope’s gotta go crowd but I’m trending that way after last night. I didn’t see any heart or toughness and you just can’t win many big games without those two things.

Don’t shoot the messenger, I always pull for UK (stepmom and Aunt went to UK and I grew up going there every thanksgiving, even owned a UK hoodie that I wore all the time) other than the Vandy games so I don’t love what’s going on anymore than yall do.

Dude - we haven’t had power in almost 4 days and it’s colder than a witch’s tltty in Nashville. No cell service either so I went to the game, dropped my family offf at a hotel and then back to my cold arse house to sleep with my dog. It was 39 on the thermostat when I woke up this morning.

Total BS. He went NUTS on BBN one time. Just a joke that some of you fall for this every time. A rival fan comes over here after they win and says “aw schucks”. Frieda also LOVES seeing BBN choose him over fellow fams. smh

I agree with everything Freida said. Defensively I can’t imagine a worse performance. Lost on switches all night, not fighting over screens. They ran that screen under the basket more times than I can count and we still haven’t stopped it. This is the most selfish game we have played all year. Two players were in a pissing contest on number of shots they could take and no one else even tried to get open. The performance last night was one that should cost a coach a job or at least put some major heat under their seat and Pope has managed to do this 4-5 times already just this year. What’s Popes record against teams in the top 25? After staring 7-2 with the oldest team ever assembled in college basketball, Pope is 2-11 over the past 13 games against ranked opponents.

You know I love you brother, but you know I am going to give you a hard time every time you come to console us after a loss. It’s just what we do. I feel your pain on the power and cold, really. I’ve been there exactly. First and foremost, I hope you are safe and take care of the family.

I would say enjoy the win and that it just won’t happen very often, but I can’t really say that any longer. Maybe we can make it competitive next time. Yay Mark.

Pope’s head is spinning for sure. I watched his teams at BYU and he ran good stuff, got clean looks and played a more team oriented style of ball. Jobs like UK can eat up a lot of men, hope he gets it turned around. Pope is a good man.

I was there for that, not pretty.

One of my best friends is a UK grad and we went to that game together. He looked at me around halftime and said, “ @Friedas_Boss , I will never step foot in this gym again…”

Billy G was a mess…. He did a great job at A&M, but he just couldn’t cut it at UK.

Germantown might be OK but Grumpyolddog hangs out here because he always knows he has the upperhand. He was here right up until they lost and refuted that Georgia has ever had any legal issues as he knew the real story and we had it all wrong. LMAO. He vanished after Ole Miss win. Lmao at some of you. 🤣

You stop in here to get UK fans fighting amongst themselves about Vandy, bathe in every minute of it and then vanish after Vandy is forgotten here. LOL at the people that say "he's respectful" !! You have to be as a rival fan. What a joke.

I’m glad most everyone can see what he really is. What’s odd is he throws the word troll around more than anybody on this forum. He’s always pointing the finger. Never really talks ball. I’d rather talk to a rival fan that hates UK than him. He’s not here for conversation just here to be a ahole that can dish it but can’t take it.
