I turned it off with 5 minutes left in the half. I had tickets for the game but didn’t want to drive 3 hours one way for this lack of effort and of course the weather is crappy in Memphis. Just out toughed all around, maybe they need to ride back in a yellow school bus tonight, because they liook like a really bad high school team. Time to stop pampering these overpaid scrubs. Can’t wait until the Saturday massacre! Hope I’m wrong but they have quit tonight.

Im not exactly turning them on these last few weeks. Ill keep an eye on my phone, if we are doing the right things and being competitive, then ill turn it on. Call my fairweather but I just don't have the bandwidth right now to dedicate 2 hours of my Saturday to dog **** basketball.

Never even turned this game on, had a bad feeling. Of course not THIS bad.

I’ve been on record always saying give them some time. Wait until we are fully healthy. Pope will turn it around. Maybe it’s the Cal hangover, not sure. All I know is give me a product worth watching and I will watch. Don’t give me a product and I will not watch. I value my time more than watching what we see tonight. Turned it off at halftime and watching a series my wife likes. Better than being in a bad mood with the effort I saw the first half. I am not the bandwagon fan. Been watching too long. What I am seeing is not worth my time. Please, give me a reason to watch.

Just another in a long series of games the past 6 years I have turned off. We are a disgrace of a program. On the way to being Indiana (the basketball program that is).

If you would have told me in 2012 that I wouldn't even care about the games in 2026, I would have called you a liar. But that is where we are. This crap is unwatchable and Pope is in over his head.

Im on this boat also. Been a fan all my 42 years. Since these dudes started getting paid its been a trash product. Do I wanna give this any kind of attention just to see a team score 55 points. Nope I find a better use of my time. We are so far from a final four I might not see one again.

I’d love to know, I think Pope has been down by 20 or more to more teams in 1 1/2 seasons than any coach I can ever remember in my life at Kentucky. I remember the end of the Sutton years for reference as a small child. Probation team maybe? But come on that was because of extraordinary standards.

Is pope going to be a jerk in post game or man up and call out the lack of heart???
He should start with calling out his lack of heart, preparation, recruiting, all of it. A failure all the way around.

turned it off 5 minutes in, recorded it, was only gonna start to watch if I googled and saw we got closer. Didn't. Didn't watch anymore of it. Will delete it. As Pope has deleted our season.

That’s exactly what I do too. Would’ve never done that in the past, it’s sad..

Funny thing is he coaches high school basketball about 45 mins up the road at Carroll County High School Boys. He did at one point coach high school boys at Williamstown Independent in my county but moved on.

I watched it all. But you had to know the only defense we would play in the second was Oweh and Aberdeen taking the ball away from each other do they could shoot it themself.

Whatever the opposite of team is then we are watching it.

whatever is broken with this team isn't getting fixed.

But the larger picture is whatever it is about Kentucky in the past decade isn't getting fixed either. It goes beyond a team or a coach. Its been a steady decline of failing to capitalize on talent and potential - and my only conclusion is the emphasis isn't on winning.

I've never turned off a game. Even last night, I tortured myself until the bitter end. As much as I try to look at the good things; last night was miserable. We had a "team" out there that had no desire to win and made no effort to do so,

I started to occasionally turn a game off during the 9-16 year. If the team is playing horrible with no heart/effort...I'm tempted. I've turned the game off at halftime 3 times this year. Zags, LSU and Vandy. I did check on the LSU game and caught the last part.

Last night I turned it off and took a sleeping pill so I wouldn't lay away and wonder if they turned it around in the 2nd half. I slept like a baby.
