Fast Food = Double Don and Don and Millie's followed by Runza's Double Cheeseburger at #2Any suggestions? Does anybody have one that rivals Bob’s Bar?
Runza will forever be #1 in my heart. Best burger i ever had was from Runza. Wife and I were in the hospital after the birth of our kid and we both were tired af from no sleep, and the burgers were huge and greasy. just hit the spot beyond perfect.I do not live there now nor have I for a long while. But I was in Lincoln a few weeks ago visiting family and I had a fantastic cheeseburger at Culvers. I would give it a 9 out of 10
I can’t eat Culver’s burgers. I think they use peanut oil to fry them and they give me a belly ache. I had a 5 Guys burger I think in Sergeant Bluff and that was good but I was kind of looking for a place where I can get a double tall Tito’s and tonic to go with it. The greasier the betterI do not live there now nor have I for a long while. But I was in Lincoln a few weeks ago visiting family and I had a fantastic cheeseburger at Culvers. Never understood the smashburger thing. Why squish out all the good stuff?Honestly, if you have a Blackstone or any other griddle...homemade smash burgers are amazing.
That is what I thought too but it actually traps in all the good stuff. Or at least it does when I have made them.Never understood the smashburger thing. Why squish out all the good stuff?
I heard Five Guys got really expensive. But I love that place.Honest Abe's in Lincoln is very good.
Five Guys is probably the best chain burger, with Runza a close 2nd.
It's all expensive now. Double cheeseburger meal at Runza is $15I heard Five Guys got really expensive. But I love that place.

The last burger I got from Culver’s was dripping in grease, now don’t get me wrong I like a greasy cheeseburger but this was way over the top.they do have really good ice creamI can’t eat Culver’s burgers. All that you mentioned are good, but I'll give an extra shout out to Hyde's. Great burgers.Few not mentioned here:
Cheeseburgers Omaha - A take out joint - they used to have one down the road from my place out west but that's since closed and they only have one by the med center
Smittys garage
Omaha Tap house
Hyde's Burgers and Fries
Dinkers sucks.. Outside of nostalgia for older folk I don't get the love for dinkers
Have a Blackstone and home grown hamburger. I just like to be waited on when I’m in Omaha or Lincoln and am not always dressed for a nice place.Honestly, if you have a Blackstone or any other griddle...homemade smash burgers are amazing.
Where is that? For my money, Dinkers (bring cash - no cards or checks).
Beef has gotten high. It’s about time but I know too many old Baby Boomers who have sold their cows and retired. Not many of the young pups want to do the work of calving season. Cow herd has shrunk dramatically coupled with the screw worm quarantine on our southern border. Mexico needs to get their crap together. It's all expensive now. Double cheeseburger meal at Runza is $15
So true I still don't get the fascination with them. Why squeeze all the juice out of a giid fat burger?Never understood the smashburger thing. Why squish out all the good stuff?
You lost me with all the crap on it. Who ruins good beef with mustard?
DinkersWhere is that?
I haven’t tried that place. I drove by it all the time when I had a house in Ak Village. Looked like my kind of joint.Bronco's
