glad we finally got to play you guys, and again, congratulations to your community. The boys gave you guys all that they had.

It’s disheartening to know that no matter how good you are, Tarboro will be waiting at the end. It will take a 2a team with generational talent all over the place (like Mount Airy and East Surry had when they beat Tarboro in the 1a bracket) playing a near perfect game to have a better than average chance of beating Tarboro and winning it all. It shouldn’t be that way. Tarboro should be battling it out with the likes of Shelby or Reidsville for all the marbles.

Anyway, rant over and congrats again to Tarboro. Great team and class program. Congrats to Murphy’s team too. They had a great season and did the best they could yesterday, but were just overmatched.

Football isn’t the only sport though. The Vikings are dominant in football and not much else.

That's awesome! Good for him. Does the young man who won defensive player of game for you all have any offers? I cannot lie, I would've loved to have him play for us. Great ball player!

#84? No offers that I'm aware of. I know he's a little light for a DE but I believe he's a college level player and hope someone pulls the trigger on him, definitely one of the best DE's I've seen at Murphy.
