After an 0-2 start losing ANOTHER key player. Half of BBN is calling for Popes head while he is one of the frontrunner for SEC Coach of the Year lol

Billy G winning that to me made it kinda irrelevant to me haha

Road is about to get real tough tho. We lost 1 game we expected to win and then won that back against UT. The LSU toss up game we got which was nice.

Lets see how we do in this next four game stretch.

Every other program is paying NIL, too. I’d love to make every FF and win every title. That just isn’t feasible, especially in this era. I’m saying that it’s not a fireable offense for not making a FF in year 3 and a title in years 4/5. That’s just not realistic.

It's easier than ever for UK to win big in the NIL era when we Pay the most NIL or close to it.

Every other UK post Rupp made an elite or final four by year 3. We have had 2 coaches win a title by year 3 sine Rupp.

I mean the Blue bloods haven’t exactly hit home runs.

Davis is not great at UNC
Ol Micky isn’t exactly killing it at UCLA
We’re kinda iffy at the moment
IU is well…..IU
Duke has Schyer doing ok but not K standards and K still has a lot of influence there.

Even UofL is not happy with Kelsey.

About the only “good” hire has been May at UM.
Golden at UF and that’s about it.

Love Mark.. But if he doesn’t do some a 180 next year, he’s gone. He’s gotta recruit with the rest of country or he’s dead in water.

I'm really curious to see how they construct the roster for next year. This year, I think he "over-corrected" for not having enough athleticism on defense last and sacrificed too much with perimeter shooting. I hope he finds middle ground next year with multiple athletic BASKETBALL PLAYERS...meaning - guys who are skilled with basketball IQ, ballhanlding and shooting but who are athletic enough to defend...

The team this year is athletic, but the basketball IQ is SO LOW... you can make up for that if everyone can attack off the bounce, but they can't. So, in that case, you better have guys that understand movement/spacing, but these guys just don't.

Then you hire a Morehead type coach and just do your darndest out there.. No reason to pay a coach over 3 million here.. Almost everyone was on board with the 3 year final four thing when he was hired.. Now y'all just happy to have a former player coaching here.. 😂
