Noticed Joey O is still not listed at 141… any clue when he will wrestle again???

-Anyone think we can beat #12Illinois?? We match up pretty well with them I have a feeling we might pull this off..
RU favored at 174, 184, 197, HWT…
-141/149 look like winnable tossups as well
-If it’s a 5:5 match split could come down to criteria again.. every bonus pt will be huge.
-Need this match badly for some positive momentum.

I’m sure there are people on this board that know what the issue is but they are never going to share it unless the school, goody, or Joey O does it first

Webster may be out at 157 which would be huge
174 will be tough
184 Moore just beat Mantanona 2 days after he beat SCW 17-3 I’d say Illinois is the favorite

Rutgers isnt favored at heavyweight . Luffman beat Colton Schultz, Ben Kuerter, Mirasola and split with Yara last year. Catka could win by Luffman is definitely the favorite in that match up.

with no Joey I don’t see a path to victory and more likely this dual could go real south real fast

Just like Joey O isn’t listed at 141 for Rutgers. At Hwt for Illinois Luffman isn’t listed. 🤷‍♂️

i thought I saw he was coming back this weekend , well another good break for Rutgers in that case.
still Illinois will be favored at 125, 133, 141 if pucino wrestles, 149, 157 if Webster wrestles, 165,184..174 will be no walk in the park either. The deck is stacked against Rutgers in this match up.

At this point, I'm assuming Olivieri isn't going to wrestle again at RU until hes actually steps out on the mat.

Pinto needs to hang it up. He literally does nothing well anymore. I’m sorry, but he is absolutely awful and is essentially stealing money from the program.

Pinto has been brutal. Constantly reaching back and putting himself in bad positions. Also seems disinterested at times or burned out.

Not a fan of the skycam camera angle for most of the match. Use the mat side camera more.

Ayden waits way too long in his matches before going for his offense. He has to be more aggressive earlier on in matches. Too much thinking you will pull it out in the end.

Looks more like 50 fans - poor atmosphere. With a school the size of NW they gotta do better than that for a B1G conference match. Delby-FCA probably had 800 in attendance for high school.

Truth I definitely didn’t think much of the cotton pick up , I saw him wrestle a few times last year and thought he was average. Goes to show atleast someone on the coaching staff has an eye for talent still.

pinto just doesn’t care anymore , he does the same 4 moves and gasses out every match. He’s just stealing NIL $$

Yea delbarton was sold out, pretty awesome student section nowadays I remember wrestling at Delbarton and less then 20 people total in the stands.Theyve come far.

I mean its currently -3 degrees in chicago with an impending blizzard coming so I can’t fault them for not packing the house for Rutgers and it’s a down year for northwestern too.
