Iowa has big size advantage at the Guard and forward spots, and they shoot 38% from 3-pt range as a team. They will carve us up at Carver-Hawkeye.

They also have the top defense in the Big Ten, only giving up 62.4 ppg, and they are tied for 4th in overall point differential at +16.1 (the other top four teams are Michigan, Illinois, Purdue, and Nebraska). Will be difficult for us to score.

Iowa 81
Rutgers 60

Expect a repeat of Wisconsin game where we get boat raced in first half and maybe throws some backups in second half. Maybe backdoor cover of spread like wisky? Probably not, Iowa 84, Rutgers 62

This feels like one of the worst matchups for us in the B1G. I don't think this one will be particularly close. Need a legacy game from Big E

I'll probably be in bed by 9 PM after staying up late to watch Indiana-Miami. I'll check out the box score in the morning and if it looks like we played a decent game, I'll watch it sometime before the Indiana game on Friday. If it's one to forget, I'll forget it.

Iowa always has scoring threats at the center position and from the 3 point line.

Since the 2026 slate of B1G games began, both teams are 2-3, and Iowa hasn’t scored more than 74 points in any of their contests, while RU is improving.

Iowa 74-68

On my bingo card their guy missed the free throw and it was Buchanan who took the 3 pointer and it went in. Gotta refund my crystal ball. Or Rutgers can just win
