At least Iowa got a few mentions from Herbie….Let that sink in...
Winning the National Championship isn't high on Kirk's goalsdamnit Kirk
What's to question. Its NIL.
Once again, that big influx of cash only really happened just at the end of this season. Mendoza is the only top 100 portal player they’ve had the last two years. Cuban has only primarily donated to the business school until now. What's to question. Its NIL.
Cignetti is a very good coach, but you don't turn a bball school like Indiana into a fball powerhouse without the major influx of cash from Cuban & Mellencamp.
Shades of Caleb (Bears) last nite…and yes, I think Mendoza is a bot….Crazy. Mendoza might be a robot, after seeing his interview, but a tough QB though. Miami was a lot better than everyone expected, especially the defense, and impressive OL play by the Canes. Beck made a bad decision in the end or it looked like they had the time to get close to the winning TD.
He reminds me Dani Rojas from Ted Lasso.Crazy. Mendoza might be a robot, after seeing his interview, but a tough QB though. Because it’s so simple.Winning the National Championship isn't high on Kirk's goals
Thank you. The majority of players on that team were not top NIL targets. Many of them followed Cig from JMU.Once again, that big influx of cash only really happened just at the end of this season. They call it the spectrum because people can be anywhere from completely disabled to very high functioning. So what if they are?My sister who works at the school said Mendoza & Cignetti are both on the spectrum, and I can’t unsee it.
Who cares. They put it together and bested everyone that took the field against them.Congrats to IU. They won this season's round of moneyball.

He just wants the next great walk-on story that has great parents.Winning the National Championship isn't high on Kirk's goals
Because it’s interesting to find the clues. Never said it mattered as a negative connotation, just that it’s interesting in seeing it & what makes them tick. They call it the spectrum because people can be anywhere from completely disabled to very high functioning. So what if they are?

Screw Ray Lewis and Coke head Michael Irvin.
Unfortunately accurate.Winning the National Championship isn't high on Kirk's goals
On 3rd & 5 with 2:06 to go in the game (Iowa & Indiana were tied at 13), Kirk DID NOT turtle up.
After the game, OC Tim Lester said this on the screen call vs IU: "It was there. It would've been a touchdown (where Iowa would have gone up 20-13 with under 2 minutes to play)."
Our starting QB was out with a knee injury; nevertheless, it was a play backup QB Hank Brown should have made. It was an easy throw. The coaches were playing to win with a play that was perfectly set up & according to Tim Lester would have resulted in a TD.
The next play (on 4th & 5), of course, was a 42 yard missed Drew Stevens FG.

More than a few coulda-woulda-shoulda's from being in the playoffs this season.
It's also the third season since the B1G dropped ESPN networks, and I can't describe how big of a smile that puts on my face.THIRD chip in a row for the B1G! SEC is nowhere to be seen.

These last three CFP's must have been maddening for ESPN execs.
If happened in 2024 Cuban had a one on one with Cignetti. See the 60 Minutes interview with the Hoosiers AD on YouTube. $60M. Thanks Mark.Once again, that big influx of cash only really happened just at the end of this season. Mendoza is the only top 100 portal player they’ve had the last two years. Mendoza interview he said Miami offered him $3M but he took the $2.5 from Indiana. It all starts with the QB.Thank you. The majority of players on that team were not top NIL targets. Many of them followed Cig from JMU.
And his reward will be being shipped off to the Raiders. I feel bad for the kid.Crazy. Mendoza might be a robot, after seeing his interview, but a tough QB though.
