I'm rooting for Miami, even though the Hurricanes are on my do not like list and have a grudge against Super Mario ever since he headed back to the sunshine state after Rutgers refused to give him a raise from the salary he had agreed to take to be Schiano's replacement.
Plus saying it's because my niece went to the U and is a big fan so I want to support her as my reason to shelve my dislike for coach and program and root for the U.
Never admitting my going against the Hoosiers to win is really just petty jealousy rearing its ugly face , because Indiana was just as bad as Rutgers before that CC showed up and now its become a top program , which I dreamed Rutgers could be, but instead Rutgers seems to be stuck in the disaster zone and a long way from the top.

I took the opposite reaction to IU's year.
If it can happen to them, then it can happen to us.... Someday.
And how the heck can you not root for Mendoza? He is everything (maybe the only thing) that's right about college football

Hoo Hoo Hoo HOOSIERS!

Indiana no question. Like the way they play on both sides and we don’t need the mullet and acid washed jeans crew preening around again.

Easy one. Indiana. The best team, B1G and a chronic underdog, much like us.

I used to get jealous when other nothing teams rose up like Ind has done this year. In years immediately after 06, it felt like they were stealing our thunder and usually achieving bigger things.

Now, we have no thunder. Im happy someone else is enjoying a huge run.

Rooting for Toure.
I wish Toure no ill will, but I don’t get the rooting for him thing. He rehabbed here on our dime then took off. I understand guys have to do what they need to do in the NIL era, but not interested in rooting for him. Unless I’m not aware of something. Did we screw him over somehow? Misdiagnose the injury? If something like that happened I’ll stand corrected. But probably still not rooting for him - he’s a Cane.

Miami because I am a grad school alum. But if Indiana wins so be it….great story and team.

Toure had a kid and needed money. Don't blame him. Also kid visited Wisconsin and most of the board thought he was gone. Thought Manhattan was going to pack his suitcase. Stayed committed.

I'm rooting for both teams. Two seasons ago, both Miami and Indiana were mired in mediocrity.

Tonight, led by super coaches and talented players including exciting quarterbacks, Miami and Indiana compete for the championship.

Hoping for a great game.

Voted Indiana, want to see the B1G win 3 in a row and don't need the ACC to have bragging rights.

Toure did what he had to do, to support his family. Rutgers did all they could do for him and he's now and forever will be known as a Miami Hurricane. If you think people outside this board are going to remember him as a Scarlet Knight, you're sorely mistaken.

I guess I’ll root for that stupid Bison..

But…every Indiana winning season puts Rutgers closer to the all time record for team losses.

That’s all well and good but it still does nothing for us to have him win a NC at Miami. Still can’t get over the rehabilitation on our dime. We helped his market. Still not getting it.
