We are finally seeing Hannah become the player we all hoped she could be. Great to see
IMO, one of the best plays of the game from Hannah was the great jump shot from the side just before the shot clock expired. really finally used her legs on an outside shot for once. That was a thing of beauty.
Well deserved. Hannah had a terrific couple of games against excellent competition. Averaged 20 ppg, 8.5rpg, and 6.5 apg. 6.5 assists out of a post player is amazing and indicative of how well rounded her game has become.
Deal had her best game yet against a good Oregon team, shooting lights out with 18 points going 4-4 from deep and then followed that up with 8 points in an excellent first half against MSU.
It's a great year to be a fan of Iowa women's basketball.

I assume during Caitlin's freshman year. Surely she won both multiple weeks.

Actually Iowa won both awards twice in the same week after Monica and Caitlin.
Feb 1, 2021 was Monica and Caitlin.
Feb 15, 2021 was Caitlin and Caitlin.
March 1, 2021 was Caitlin and Caitlin.
I was thinking CC22 had to have won both. She went on a rampage at the end of her freshman year with 30+ point games.
She's really played well the last several games, especially the assists. Just wish she could get that free throw monkey off her...
