So we stay at 11 while MSU moves right behind us for... losing to us? Other teams ahead of us stay where they are for losing?

Can't speak for her ranking of MSU, but in the AP there was a considerable gap between 10th and Iowa.

Just my 2 cents but Kentucky has 2 unranked losses and one more loss than us. I think we deserve to be in the top 10.

Only team that lost in front of Iowa that you could possibly jump Iowa in front was Kentucky.

Michigan State is a 2 loss team that played a close game vs us in the end. Not that egregious.

Alabama is ranked but will fall out after 2 losses this week. Mississippi St has 5 losses but all to ranked opponents.

Iowa is fortunate they have played their road games against the bottom of the conference.. I’d argue Iowa would’ve lost to both Bama and Miss St on the road based on how they played Indiana and NW. Hopefully we can have a better performance ar Maryland Thursday.

I get all that but wins and losses still matter for rankings. I feel like we can judge for ourselves on the eye test.

I feel that everyone forgets beating Baylor on a neutral court and our only losses are to a ranked rival before losing two players and the team that will probably win the title.

I think we will learn a ton more about this team in the next week but for right now I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

The gap between UConn and everyone else makes the polls pretty irrelevant anyway.

Having said that, with a favorable draw and hot shooting, this team could beat anyone outside of UConn in the tourney.
