Assume the Aussie is still a possibility.Committed today, said they were looking at another punter also.
We going back to the days of a pooch punter and long distance punter?Committed today, said they were looking at another punter also.
We did, but people are thinking we might not done at that position…I thought we got the punter from Simpson.
Check out Indiana’s national championship roster. There has to be someone from South Central Louisiana State University we can pick up. Gotta keep adding that high-caliber talent from those high-caliber programs!
Exactly...a bunch fewer 4 and 5 star players on Indiana roster than what they faced. They had the right coach for the job and the right QB for sure.Check out Indiana’s national championship roster.
Position and Previous School(s):Check out Indiana’s national championship roster.
Iowa State already beat us to the best player from Colorado School of Mines.Haven't hit Coe or St Ambrose yet
The Simpson kid was a big get ... the Big10 is shakingexcept the punter position?
They're a pretty big division II powerhouse.Iowa State already beat us to the best player from Colorado School of Mines.
JFC - I, for the life of me, cannot understand why anyone gives a **** about the punter being from Simpson. He’s a punter, not a linemen. He doesn’t go against ANYBODY. He doesn’t BLOCK. He doesn’t TACKLE, he doesn’t CARRY or THROW the ball. He takes the snap and KICKS THE BALL DOWN THE FIELD. The punter doesn’t even have a coverage lane on the punting team! They just sit back there as a last resort safety, and nobody even cares if they make the tackle or not because nobody expects them too!The Simpson kid was a big get ... the Big10 is shaking
What's your boy Rhuler doing? There has to be someone from South Central Louisiana State University we can pick up. Gotta keep adding that high-caliber talent from those high-caliber programs!
44 yards a punt. We got an offense now, so critical nature of punter is not so greatThe Simpson kid was a big get ... the Big10 is shaking

*Do you see a lot of small schools in there? I do not. And James Madison is a powerhouse, so it makes sense they did well on the big stage.
*Now go ahead and take a look at the guys they have gotten from the portal for this upcoming season, and where those players came from.
Sarrat was from the historical behemoth program of St Francis of Pa. One of many examples on that team of guys playing at pretty under the radar places. Heck, Mendoza's only offers out of HS were Cal and Yale....not exactly world beaters in CFB.There has to be someone from South Central Louisiana State University we can pick up. Gotta keep adding that high-caliber talent from those high-caliber programs!
Just based off Total Tackles on the season - He's 3rd in the DB group. I don't know if he's "rated" higher or lower or anything like that...D’Angelo Ponds is DB3??? Lmao
Yes, I am aware of everything you've said here. As far as Mendoza - The point is...He succeeded in "big boy" football prior to IU.Sarrat was from the historical behemoth program of St Francis of Pa. What makes you think I'm a Nebraska fan, big guy? Secondly, I believe I already told you I hate the Huskers...What's your boy Rhuler doing?
I don't know that I'd call a record at Cal as the starter of 9-10 as "successful", but I do get the gist of what you're saying.Yes, I am aware of everything you've said here. As far as Mendoza - The point is...He succeeded in "big boy" football prior to IU.
And James Madison is not "under the radar"
And JMU was under the radar until Cig got there.....it's not like they were attracting quality football players before.Yes, I am aware of everything you've said here. As far as Mendoza - The point is...He succeeded in "big boy" football prior to IU.

Why won't you just explain your accusation that I'm a Nebraska fan? What's your boy Rhuler doing?
Anyone who isn’t 100% rah rah for the Hawks is a Husker fan, duh.Why won't you just explain your accusation that I'm a Nebraska fan?
So stupid.Anyone who isn’t 100% rah rah for the Hawks is a Husker fan, duh.
Since you asked...Check out Indiana’s national championship roster.
Probably because if they wanted to make an in-state DIII player the starting punter, they would have done that by now. They did the right thing dipping into Australia.JFC - I, for the life of me, cannot understand why anyone gives a **** about the punter being from Simpson.
Now list all the JMU starters toolshedSince you asked...
Heisman Trophy QB: Power 5 Cal
Starting OL: Power 5 Notre Dame
Starting OL: Power 5 Ohio State
Starting TE: Power 5 Tennessee
Star WR: Power 5 Michigan
Starting CB: Power 5 Pitt
Starting S: Power 5 Ol Miss
Edge Rusher: Power 5 Maryland
Your point? lol Sadly, Indiana doesn't phone it in and give scholarships to guys from Simpson College, Furman, and North Dakota. They aspire to be great instead of mediocre.
Indiana also has Mark Cuban and John Mellencamp giving them NIL money. Iowa can’t get the same guys with what they have. SWARM isn’t even close to where it needs to be to just be average.Since you asked...

Iowa doesn't have $60M donors either. They bring in what they can afford, so give it a rest know-it-all.Since you asked...

Unbelievable, isn’t it?JFC - I, for the life of me, cannot understand why anyone gives a **** about the punter being from Simpson. He’s a punter, not a linemen. He doesn’t go against ANYBODY. The ONLY thing that matters is his net yards per punt, which would have been middle of the pack in the B1G this year.
The speed of the game will be faster. There will be an adjustment getting the ball off quicker. We also have a new special teams coach. A blocked punt cost Miami last night. Punting is winning.Unbelievable, isn’t it?
