You just stood there screaming
Fearing no one was listening to you
They say the empty can rattles the most
The sound of your own voice must suit you

Hearing only what you want to hear
And knowing only what you've heard
You, you're smothered in tragedy
And you're off to save the world

Misery
You insist that the weight of the world
Should be on your shoulders
Misery
There's much more to life than what you see
My friend of misery

You still stood there screaming
No one caring about these words you tell
My friend, before your voice is gone
One man's fun is another's hell

These times are sent to try men's souls
But something's wrong with all you see
You, you'll take it on all yourself
Remember, misery loves company

Misery
You insist that the weight of the world
Should be on your shoulders
Misery
There's much more to life than what you see
My friend of misery, my friend of misery

Misery
You insist that the weight of the world
Should be on your shoulders
Misery
There's much more to life than what you see
My friend of misery

You just stood there screaming

My friend of misery

@Richie O please put this r*tard out of his misery
I can only shake my head in amazement over how many “so called” Rutgers fans are ok with trying hard.
I like winning , I like being tops in several categories at my job .

Wisconsin took it easy and their PG was out for a bit after he went to locker room

being satisfied and defending another crap performance because we scored 5 points in the final 14 seconds to cut margin to 9.

Asking to fire a coach a year or two after winning Super Bowl is ludicrous . Wanting change after 1 tourney win 10 years isn’t , especially after last years embarrassment and this years results

You are an absolute imbecile!!! Nobody is happy with the state of RU basketball. However, your posts are moronic!!
Actually if you read the posts there’s a group of folks who do seem to be satisfied and find positives from this team. Just sayin’. Most, I agree with you, are not, but some do seem ok.

This clown is obviously a Seton Hall fan. New account just set up and handle is "RU Not Entertained".

Why even respond to it like it serious.

Meanwhile, what gets lost in the frustration of a weak season is that through 18 games, this has been Pike’s most productive offense at Rutgers game in and out with any team that didn’t have Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey on it.

I’m sure someone will try to challenge me on this with the advanced metrics, but it’s 100% the truth. We’re averaging almost 71 ppg and it’s not like we play at a ridiculously fast pace either. I’m pretty sure Pike’s never averaged over 70 except with the 2 NBA stars. We’re doing this with no offensive center and a defense that doesn’t force the kinds of turnovers that result in fast break points that boost efficiency and scoring output. Also - outside of the CC game - we’ve been pretty consistent scoring too - that game happened so it obviously belongs in the metrics, but putting up only 54 points at home in that one I’m sure brings down our advanced numbers a good deal.

The bottom line is this team was supposed to be historically bad and while it’s not good, the offense is far from that. The defense has major holes that likely cannot be fixed with the personnel we have but to this point there’s reason to at least hope that this is a team Pike could build off of if he’s here next season. A center who scores and plays decent S and a defensive wing / forward stopper would make this team so much better.
