The boosters have to love this guy. Can't wait to see what he can build with more time and resources.
Maybe hit up these U of I alumni Millionaires or Billionaires. Ted Waitt, Kelly Ortberg, Scott Heiferman, or maybe Bill Perkins who was a player at Iowa. Many rich alumni out there that may give more than $20 bucks a month.
DD thinking "I just got my *** handed to me, at home, by a coach with far less resources and brand recognition than me."
BMC's best quality is that he's always hungry for more, always wanting to improve. Give him time and the Hawks will really be going places.
Basically reminds me of a Capt. Kirk postgame............. just a lot of coach speak. No elaboration.
Translation = I'll let somebody else do something to improve the team. Anyone but me.

I was so inclined. Always nice to hear from the "Other side." DD is like Ben, in that he takes accountability. He credits opposing players and points out where his guys can improve. His team gives up 1.15 pts/possession and leans heavily on his starters. He mentioned fatigue, which is normal when you play guys for heavy minutes. He's got to figure that out and he will. He gave our guys a lot of well deserved credit on the defensive side as well as credit to Bennett for offense, so good for him. Thanks for posting this. BTW, our starters played several minutes as well, and both benches contributed similarly in scoring.
DD, like Ben had to put a roster together in a flash.
Ben brought most of his team with him,while DD only brought tucker, I believe.
We did a great job on their most dynamic player,Wilkerson and made tucker beat us.
Tucker is in a shooting slump so good decision.
IU is small,like Iowa, without the toughness of hawks
I just don't think they have the horses, despite the rumored 11 million payroll.

The continuity of having his NW MO guys then Drake and now playing for the Hawks is huge. Stirtz, Cam, Combs and even Tavion and Howard know exactly what he wants.
