The ducks (14-4, 2-3) come to town to tackle the Hawkeyes (14-2, 5-0). Oregon is coming off a close loss at home against Sparty , while the hawks narrowly escaped Indy with a win.

Last years game in Eugene was brutal with Iowa losing 50-49 and they scored only 15 points in the second half.

I expect a better performance tonight in Carver. This Iowa team has been on the struggle bus recently and Oregon is desperate for a quality road victory. I like the hawks in another close game 77-69.

Actually they do have a quality road win when they beat USC in Los Angeles.

Last years team was playing about like this years team the last couple of games. They lost 5 or 6 in a row last year if I remember right. Thankfully they haven't done that this year. I think they'll play much better tonight

We saw the worst version of this team in the first half against Indiana. Thay were flat, methodical, and content to play a half court game. That style does not suit Stremlow, Ava, or Stuelke. In order to excel, this team needs a little chaos. And, that chaos is usually generated at the defensive end. I hope to see some agressive defense in order to kick start our offense.

Fast chaotic game will favor Oregon with their athleticism. I think it will be about possessions (few turnovers) and being deliberate and accurate/efficient at the post (Heiden).

I'm really curious to see how Iowa plays it. Gotta win this home game.

I’ve watched a few of their games on tape and their athleticism is no better than ours.
Interesting. The game I watched, I saw a lot of players on the court that could dribble and create. Not saying Iowa doesn't have any of that, but they don't typically play at the same tempo as Oregon. We'll see, I guess. Almost game time.

CC is Iowas only reliable ball handler. Deal
Handles the ball really well but struggles with decision making.

if Iowa is gonna insist on playing a half court, pound it inside game then they have to limit turnovers.

I don't know if putting Layla in a frantic up and down game is a good fit.

Chit Chat’s fall looked really painful. Hope she’s okay.

Still need to go inside but kick it out against the zone. Make them work on defense.
