Lost my stroke. Its interesting - I can go years without playing and can still swing a bat well and hit a pretty good forehand in tennis. Basketball.....gone.

i still remember the oohs and aawes when our team would hit from the 3 pt area back in 1957 we went 19-2 with a 6-2 center. of course back then it only counted 2

I think the last time I shot a basketball was at my daughter’s club team practice. She’s 26 now🥴. Played full court until I was 40, 3 times per week. When I was hot anything over half court was goin down. When I wasn’t hot well….not so much

No 3 point line back in my day. Harpo Daley from Benson would have loved it. Jan Wall from Lincoln Northeast and the Huskers would have also thrived.

In my thirties and early forties my friends and I would get together at my house and play what we called dunk ball. We played 2 on 2. We had a three point line. No goal tending allowed on a 3 ball. We played with a Youth league ball on an 8 1/2 foot hoop. The kicker was if you got a defensive rebound you did not have to take the ball past a back line. It could be fast and furious.Afterwardss I would cook-up a lot of food on the Weber and we would pig out.
