Sadly, Barney just extended it until 2040. So either something will give and have to change OR we will be Indiana. There’s no in between.
You should talk to your stand up Christian buddy Barney about lying and being honest. He hasn’t. What you don’t get is no one knows the truth. Really? Post the contract details then. If this is true and you are so confident. Post a link showing you are correct. I've several linked articles with quotes saying you are wrong. How long have you worked for JMI? What position do you hold there?

What gets me is this: as basically the only major school to sign with JMI, why would THEY want this clause in the contract?
1. Surely UK is a more valuable brand if our major sports programs are successful.
2. Who else could they hope to sign if they're getting in the way of their only major brand being competitive?
I have to imagine they would rather renegotiate that point than turn UK into a middling brand.
The JMI contract seems pretty bad if the speculation is true, but Pope was far from a recruiting powerhouse even before JMI took over NIL operations for UK at the contract renewal in August. We missed on any 5* recruit not from Kentucky and most of our top portal targets last year, BEFORE the contract extension that gave JMI the reigns to our NIL.
