Patterson is from Florida not Michigan.

I don't understand the distain for Fitz or Woods, Patterson is from Michigan and wants to get closer to home. Probably doesn't like the stuff going on at Michigan so chose Michigan St. Ward would be a familiar face to see every day as a comfort zone. Fitz is a good coach, (several have said they would like him to coach at Iowa after Kirk). Fitz or Ward are not aggressively trying to poach Iowa players. IMO
Ward?? I assume you mean Lavar WOODS

And stop chasing off talents like Oliver Martin; Derrick Willies; Keagan Johnson; James Cleveland; etc.
Leave a laughing emoji if you've built a shrine to me and spend time on incel message boards.
And of those great players most of them did bubkas for most of their careers at other school, or schools in KJ's case.

Looks like Raiola committed to Oregon. I don’t know what they’re thinking. I thought Lanning was pretty smart but I guess I was wrong.

Let’s not act like Raiola isn’t heads and shoulders above anyone qb on Iowa’s roster. If he hadn’t of gone to Nebraska to begin with he wouldn’t be getting near the hate. Lanning turned around Nix’s career and helped rejuvenate Moore’s. QB’s get drafted under Lanning. How many has Kirk had in his 27 years get drafted?

Raiola apparently got paid close to 3 million last year by Nebraska to perform significantly worse than Mark. Let’s not act like he’s been a particularly good quarterback

Nix beat Alabama his freshman year at Auburn.

Mark has his worse statistical career passing at Iowa. He had more rushing touchdowns than passing. He was a good poor man’s Tim Tebow.

Nebraska is staring at possibly the most futility to date with next years schedule. I’d say 4-8 is more realistic than 6-6.
Their OOC is baby soft but ya, their conference slate isn't great. MSU, Maryland, and Rutgers might be their path to a bowl game.

????

Riola played 3 fewer games, had 250 more yards, 9% better completion rating, 8 more TDs, 1 fewer INT,
Just say you don’t know ball if this is how you view both of these quarterbacks. Mark may be atypical but thrived in Iowa’s system, leading to higher QBRs in practically every game outside of the first two of the season

Arm talent is the only thing that I’ve been impressed with from Raiola. Which is way down the list on importance to me.

His lack of leadership qualities and distractions he brings greatly outweigh his arm talent. He’s also not mobile.

I’m just shocked Oregon didn’t have better options in-house or available to them in the portal.

He'll get a clear upgrade at OL and WRs. All he has to do is not crash the Ferrari. If he busts, then they'll tell him to transfer again.

This. I get it, Nebby is the enemy and everyone dislikes Raiola but people really do seem to have a hard time eliminating biases and looking at things objectively. And there were games where he was getting sacked nine times a game.

Looks like the hawks might be looking to Australia again for another punter, Boston Everitt might be the target.
I'm cool with it.

See Andrew Depaepe DE from Bettendorf transferring again. Went to Mich St (never considered Iowa) and he and his brother on IU roster both are going to UMass. Literally from #1 team this year to the worst.

Knowing the kid, he just wants to play with his brother and get playing time. At least that’s what his dad said on Facebook lmao

Well, he is a pretty darn good quarterback. New scenery and coaching could be the difference for him.

Who knows..Who cares, really.

If they've played for Nebraska, they suck. Simple as that.

So, objective is Dylan Raiola learning to be Dylan Raiola and playing within someone's system without feeling the need to always try to create a play. Objective is he has a tendency to break off his progressions and feel pressure before it is actually there. Dana Holgerson called some really good games, but Dylan just wouldn't stick to the progressions causing his stretch of sacks. He has great arm strength and seems to be able to throw the ball from three different arm positions, but not always accurate and sales a fair number of balls. Easily correctable with some work as he is an above average QB. I still say a head case that has always wanted to emulate instead of defining himself. Will that be good in Oregon with a locker-room of egos? A team that runs down to the end of a field and taunts the home team fans is a little full of themselves. Maybe that will be the secret to Raiola and his success.
