I think there are going to be a lot of bonus points scored. Smith's size deficit is going to hurt him. Shawver, well, it's up to him to keep from getting tech'ed or worse. The rest? Oh, boy. I look forward to seeing how Walsh fares against a top wrestler. I'd like to see Ford go out instead of Barbosa; he can better afford the loss. Let's try not to get injuries.

A shutout is a possibility. I think we can win 285 and 133 is always a possibility if the right Shawver shows up. 141 would be winnable if Olivieri was wrestling. Other than that I think it’s unlikely we win any bouts. This place is gonna be ugly tonight.
Don’t give yourself false hope. Even if Shawver magically reverts to his b10 champ form for one match he’s still up against a NCAA champion caliber opponent.. would actually be a huge win if he doesn’t get bonus.. I’m just hoping he doesn’t end up getting wacked by back to back freshmans that will end up breaking his confidence.

A lot of freshmen getting the nod today, utilizing the five date rule for true freshmen. Parkins (141), Magro (149) and Chapman (174) are all going to get a taste of the best team.

Smith wrestled hard but was basically overpowered by Lilledahl. Did a good job not giving up bonus.
Shawver just has zero confidence right now... Blaze is a stud... But shouldn't be anywhere near 10pts better
Shawver has digressed immensely this year.
Shawver defended well in the 1st. Shawver did a good job of getting out in the 2nd. Blaze then took it to him the rest of the with 3 takedowns to secure the major.
Probably should have sent out Gibson but don’t think it woulda made much difference

Yeah Magro looked good. This lineup by PSU is just insane. There is no break. I like that we're throwing in the freshman. They have a lot of eyes on them and it's a a great experience.

Parkins just no match for Davis to start. 9-2 after the 1st. Parkins wrestled better in 2nd and 3rd but gave up the major, 18-7.
Getting crushed by Penn state is one thing no shame in that. Putting out a squad of all backups for a televised big 10 match is downright embarrassin. I’m sure big ten will be remember Rutgers sending out a JV team when deciding the schedule next year.
This match and future matchups aren’t televised because of Rutgers. It’s all about Penn St and rightfully so
Parkins was a big time recruit. He needs to show more then he has so far
Other than Pinto and not having Joey, there really isn't a big talent difference in wrestling the young guys. I only see upside in that. JV would be throwing the practice room guys out there.
Actually, I think Magro should be the starter at this point.I see a huge upside to him.I think getting the best competition will make him better.I see him being a couple time AA.The kid just has something about the way he wrestles that translates to success.

Magro pieced up by SVN. Magro fought hard, held center, and had a nice reversal before giving it right back. SVN then ate him up in the 2nd to go up 12-3. Magro did a good job riding SVN in the 3rd. SVN finished it with an assassin.

Every big ten team gets atleast 1 big ten dual and then the rest are match up based. If Rutgers is sending out 4-5 back ups at penn state why would they decide to televise Rutgers outside of the minimum 1
I dont disagree Clark looks like a shell of himself and Magro wrestles hard id ride with him the rest of the season but as of now I think he’s still a back up. Perkins,Magro,Doster,Ford, Chapman in a row isnt a good look
