Why don’t you put what all of our players in the NFL have earned?

All American at Indiana going to be making $30M a year. What's $400-500K a year to him to pay for one starting stud OL player? Payback to the school that changed his life, his kid's life and on and on.

The SWARM CEO has tried to get Iowa NFL players (current & former) to donate; he said he has not had any luck because they never got paid when they were in college. I can understand their point.
Point being Schwarber never made any NIL money either. We have no ideas whether he’s contributing or not. So why put his financials up?

NFL income doesn’t last long. Taxes take a huge chunk. Agent takes a chunk and career is over before you know it.

you need billionaires not millionaires with only a 5-10 year window to make money.

Some excerpts from the linked article:

Cignetti returned the praise to Indiana’s biggest donor.

He and Cuban are three years apart in age and were born in the same hospital in western Pennsylvania.

“If Mark Cuban wanted to give $10 million, that would be like me donating $10,000,” Cignetti said. “But we’re glad that he’s involved. If he keeps doubling his donation, it’ll be big one day.”

Does Tastee Freeze still exist in Iowa? When I was a kid there was one across the street from the grandparents house. Great location!!

I'm not sure either. One can only hope!

The one in Marion I used to go to as a kid is now The Freeze, and is the closest thing you get. Others in the CR area turned into Parlor City’s but they’re less like the classic Tastee Freeze.

Neither one is anywhere close to being multi-billionaires like Cuban and Mellencamp. Not. Even. Close.
Pretty sure his comment was laced with sarcasm….if not, as someone pointed out earlier- we have major issues ahead…🤪

Cry me a river. I made $50 million in 10 years but all I have now is $35.
You never collected $35 after taxes and agent fees. Former players that never made a dime from NIL already donated their services to their college. The schools and coaches got very fat off that free service.

you need billionaires to fun NIL or companies that can use it as advertising.

Schools used the funds to finance 24 sports programs at the school. Is that getting fat?
Or to spend on facilities for athletes..is that getting fat?
