Where and why would he go elsewhere? He’s going to win a national championship and he coaches in the best conference in the nation and is paid very handsomely for it.
Not to mention that the Indiana athletic department and fans will support literally any decision he'll make. He's the head honcho there. He wouldn't have that kind of power at places like Alabama.

I cannot fathom the turnaround at Indiana. We are talking about one of the historically worst programs ever dominating everyone. Cignetti easily best coach in the country.
Make me want to puke tbh. Mainly because historically fundamental teams like Iowa got passed over in the dark of night with no answer as to how or why.

I for one, look forward to adding an automatic L to our schedule when Indiana is on it, same as Ohio State or Oregon. Yay, three elite teams in the B1G!

Sorry Indy won’t last. It’s got probably a 9-10 year win season of coasting momentum next year then it’ll be back to .500 year seasons if not worse again. Cignatti isn’t sticking around and Mendoza is the team. It’s just lightning in a bottle.

Automatic L huh? is this like when you were playing in junior high getting your *** kicked by your rival while you were in the locker room sniffing your jock
Back for another spanking, schizo **** boy? Because we all know your greasy *** doesn't have any kind of counter argument. Go back to whatever gutter your dumbass crawled out of.

For now, I respect what Cignetti has done. It's nothing short of a miracle. Until i see them actually take a step back, I will consider them contenders every year. But I do agree that without Mendoza, it'll be more difficult next year.

He’s got a great job at Indiana with good financial backing for his staff salaries and NIL. Unless he has NFL aspirations I think he’s there for the long haul.
He's not an NFL coach. Pro players won't play for a guy like him. Fact.
Indiana is the program that Iowa should have developed into
I don't know if you're more insufferable to your fellow Hawk fans, Bear fans or Cub fans. You would have been fragged in Vietnam the first week you were in country...

Fernando Mendoza is indeed a very special person.
