Ayala was on the leg for 15 sec before the ref called stall. It should have been a five count stall Than blew dead. He lost fair and square but the ref sucked.
Maybe Drake finally falls in the rankings where he belongs

They don't blow dead anymore, they call the stall and stop the riding time. That's what the ref was signalling (stop riding time), not locked hands like these BTN+ announcers thought
Help me with the rules on that. Shouldn’t it have blown dead? I didn’t think you could two stalls on that one move.

Ayala got a stall call for holding the leg in the air for 15 sec. Then they went to the ground and he continued to hold the leg - with locked hands. 5 sec additional stall call plus 1 for locked hands. Brands challenged and they changed it to an escape and locked hands. +2 either way.
Its pure hell anymore. And the Brands with brick challenges are just juveniles with uncontrollable emotions

No. That's not what was called. There was no locked hands. The 2nd point came when Ayala didn't maintain control and with Fuggitt still in bounds the escape was then awarded.
Not sure if there's a specific rule for that but usually the ref doesn't let the position stay for much longer after the 5 count anyway
I’ve had season tickets since Brand’s first year. The family and I decided not to go tonight and watch the football game instead. Looks like we made the right decision. Apathy and indifference has definitely set in for us.

At this rate, probably not. He has 4 losses and his best win is Ronnie Ramirez. I would favor Byrd, Crookham, Blaze, Davino and Larkin ahead of him now, and he has losses to Frost and Fuggit on the year. Theres a bunch of other killers at that weight and thats not even counting Jax and Seidel potentially joining in. If Drake doesn't suddenly start looking like his old self its gonna be tough for him
