Great game. Looking at who was included in the CFB field I thought Miami was the weak link. Now here they are in the finals and peaking. Crazy. I still think 8 teams and no byes should have been the play. Miami is making a statement for a larger playoff system.

I'm not religious, but spiritual. It's funny, there is a musician that I follow that freaks out beyond belief whenever Fernando Mendoza gets interview and thanks God, the Lord, etc after a victory. If people are religious that is great. Have not yet seen if when interviewing a losing coach or player if they ever thank God or say it was God's plan.
I can just imagine it: "We would have won. If Jesus didn't make me fumble. He hates our team." That might be in the Big Book of SEC excuses.

Cali is praying Miami loses so he can tell us all how much Mario sucks for the 100th time hahah
I don’t pray to have anyone lose in sports. That’s loser talk. Not surprised you came up with it.

Cignetti is an elite evaluator of talent? He's not just shoveling Cuban's cash at All Americans in the portal? Who would have thought?
I was listening to the CFE pod and they lose quite a bit this year, JMU guys etc. it’ll be interesting to see how well CC does replacing them. I still expect them to be good but this level good, not sure.

Also mentioned a sentiment I’ve heard multiple times over the past months. If you hire a guy who says I need 3-4 years to build this thing, you’ve hired the wrong guy…you’re hired you’re fired lol.

I heard him referred to as the “killer of all excuses.”

Cignetti is putting the heat on a lot of coaches. If he wins a National Championship after just 2 seasons at the losingest program in college football history, no one will accept needing 3-4 years to be competitive ever again.

One thing I enjoyed about Miami winning is we can say definitely that SEC is at best the 2nd best conference! No teams in championship game past 3 years !
Don't worry ESPN will still carry the water for them saying that they should have actually had more teams in regardless of the fact that they only won 1 game this year in the CFP in which they were playing a team outside the SEC.

So who should have replaced the “overrated” SEC teams?

BYU - they lost their CCG
ND - everyone cheered they didn’t belong
Texas - more SEC plus had 3 losses
Vanderbilt - SEC
USC/UM/Arizona, UVA - 3 losses

Utah?

Hahaha omg you're so triggered. Maybe you should've taken more time off :ROFLMAO: . For the sake of the great content in this thread ill be the bigger man and stop derailing it.
White flag raised. I like the part where you claim to be the bigger man after derailing it to start. Clown.

Looking forward to tonight’s game. Should be a really good game. I’m kind of rooting for Indiana which is one of the great stories in the sport ever. Having said that, I wouldn’t be stunned if Oregon wins. They are really talented and it’s tough beating a very talented team twice. However, Indiana has been the most consistent and best team this year. Two excellent QBs, should be a good one.

Oregon coach Dan Lanning is good at stoking his team for emotional games.
Indiana beat Oregon once this year (30-20) and game was the only Oregon loss (13-1)

A Rutgers mention on the broadcast: Lanning said, "Except for the Rutgers game, the Ducks did not play well in all three phases of the game."

Except they were playing Rutgers. . . . . . 🤷‍♂️
