Moxie Mullin comes thru. Uconns pg makes a terrific shot to clinch.
I may be saying this cause he is a fellow Pirate, but that was Gary Cohen level announcing, as good as i gave heard in a while. Perfect enthusuasm paired with wonderful wordplay. Great comeback by Uconn. Fanta killed it too.

UConn looked beatable. Providence got sped up too much. Didn't play with poise down the stretch. But the Friars did play well enough to almost slay a giant.
Up 11 w 3 min and they kept pushing the ball on each posession. Shoulda killed the clock
Maybe pc was off vs us, but they never looked unstoppable. Uconn could not stop them for most of the game. Fun game to watch. Pissed i missed most if the nova/cu game. Good CU comeback.
I don’t think they got sped up as much as they don’t know how to slow down.
Creighton is a really good team that's improving. I'm glad we stole a win from them.
Yet, against Seton Hall and with a lead, they collapsed down the stretch because they lost their aggressiveness.
UCONN pulled their best seton hall impression. Pull victory from defeat.

Providence has a ton of firepower, but it's a poorly constructed roster with a bad coach. They'll have games like this though, where they look like great.
There may not be a better game this year. That was March-level stuff. Mullins and Demary were amazing. 15 assists to 1 TO for Demary!
And I agree that Fanta is knocking it out of the park this year. Donny was very good also. Just an outstanding investment of 2+ hours of my life watching it.

Absolute devastating loss for Providence. They played so well for almost the entire game. Was UConn having an off night? I believe Providence had something to do with it. Not sure if The Hall will match up as well as Providence from an offensive standpoint with UConn. How will Providence respond moving forward? It may be better to play UConn off a taxing OT win than a loss? Plus they keep their ranking.
Was thinking this as well as I was watching. They’ll eventually drop a game they should win. Let that game be to us…again.
