I’m not sticking around for his “I don’t know” and “it’s just a lot of things” comments on the post game show….Pathetic

I'm extremely disappointed, but wanting Pope gone at this point is ridiculous!

Now if next year is a disaster, he's gone!!
Who is he bringing in to help? You think Johnson is staying? You think JQ is coming back? Several of these guys are leaving.

Pope is done!!!! He has No clue!!!! He is destroying the image of UK!!!
He's not destroying the "image" of UK. He's just going through a very steep learning curve that even I'm willing to admit now wasn't the right time to learn it :D

And if we win you’ll be told you’re a bad fan if you don’t think beating Missouri means we’re back in title contention.
I didn’t think we were going to lose to Missouri. But I expected if we won the usual suspects would be pretending that everything was fine until the next loss. Pope couldn’t even get that right.

I wonder if Mitch even realizes that the vast majority of BBN has turned against this hire. It's hard to even find someone who currently thinks Pope is the man for the job.

We pushed Cal out for this horseshit.

Ill never forgive the fringe fans that turned on Cal after 2015 and started to pull people to their side, all because they probably didnt like the hire from the start or because they think its inexcusable for his teams to be upset in the tournament (when Self and K just spent several years taking early tournament losses, no less). The people that turned on Cal for 2015, 2017, etc did bigger damage to this program than people realize. 2022? 2025? I get it. But this divorce started happening well before that. And I think the criticism he started to take for things like sticking with the twins over Ulis/Booker broke his brain and he started to get annoyed with the criticism.

We had a coach who, up until the end, was 95% what we could ask for, maybe more. But fans wanted 100%. They wanted perfect Xs and Os and no upsets. Nothing less than Elite8s or else.

Well, hope it was worth it lol. Im gonna go rematch some of those years instead of watching this mess.

And Cal worked tirelessly to fix whatever problems we had.

Well, to a certain point. He obviously mailed it in the final few years and we know he didnt prioritize some fundamentals like out of bounds plays, modern offense. He wasnt without flaws. But man, it worked most years. Makes me wonder if we sort of gave him a little more leeway for the 2015 to 2020 years, if hed still be coaching here and now able to utilize NIL.
