At the risk of dating myself, Mike Tomczak from TF North, maybe Class of '82. He went on to a high-profile career at The Ohio State before joining the Bears undrafted for a handful of years. During the latter time, he had an NFL-record of winning his first 10 starts. After bouncing to a couple other teams, he went 10-5 in his 15 starts with the Steelers in '96. Few HS QBs at that time had an arm any where near what he had, nor got to throw as much. Didn't hurt that his Dad was the Meteor Head Coach, either, so Mike could really air it out - and he DID land many bombs.

Could also say Rittenhouse for SF. That 2020 team had a very real shot at winning it all before Covid screwed everything up.

3x all-area, 2x conference player of the year at St. Francis and playing in the FCS title game tomorrow night.
He's had a very good run as starting QB the past two years at ISU.

Interesting fact. USC is the most expensive college to attend. Tuition is the highest in the country. I was somewhat surprised. I didn’t realize they were more that high but being in Southern California does make sense.

Lot of people think it's a state school, it's not, it's private and very difficult and selective to get into if you're not a world class athlete....See Lori Laughlin's daughter and what they did to get her in 😂. UCLA is the public school

I have to admit, I was in my late 20s before I realized it was private.

When I was in college, it was referred to as the "USD of Los Angeles" ;)

I'll add Prospect's Jeff Francis to the mix. I believe class of '83 or '84. Went on to star at Tennessee, including an Orange Bowl victory, and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders. He just didn't have the support around him at Prospect. Lot's of shootouts though.
