We did not see Copper on the Shrine Bowl roster.
Was he a late addition?
Or did he not go through the preseason qualifying?
And Neal was on the roster but did not see him play. What is the story there?
He was featured on the Shrine Bowl promo ads.

I don’t remember Neal being introduced or being in the game. I’m sure he wasn’t. Maybe the Reidsville guys will know. SC sure seems to take the game serious. We had about 22 that went to support our kid. Tarboro had a good crowd too. We all sat together.
I think I set a personal record yesterday. After the game just down from the school I filled my truck up gas was 2:09. I left there and drove all the way home 5 hours without stopping. I drank one drink during the game and I hit the restroom before leaving the stadium. I don’t know that I have ever driven 5 hours without a break for something!
I think Dionte was on the roster. Kendre is packing up for Oregon. He's going to watch his future teammates play for a National Championship. You know it's quite and honor to qualify for the tournament. Only the VERY best and most eligible teams even make the field. Of course there is always going to be those few who actually know nothing about tournament selection that will belly ache, for many years, over their team not making the field. Come to think of it I don't know anyone who could be so immature do you.
He’s enrolling into NC State in a few weeks, he was considering playing basketball with his teammates for one month. They had a big game yesterday but he ended up not playing.
Played safety on defense. He missed 2 tackles he should have made. But he also had 3 or 4 tackles. The announcer at times appeared to have the rosters confused and DJ announced as having a catch that he didn’t do. Hopefully they had a different person doing all the stats that didn’t go by what was being announced. #40 was the best looking kid NC had. Played on defense at linebacker. Kid was solid all day. I’ll have to look him up. I was too tight to buy a program.
Mountain Heritage’s Cameron Cartlidge was the nc defensive mvp. He had 13 tackles.
Most kids that are enrolling early decline to play in this. It’s an opportunity (bad) to possibly get hurt.

Harrison graduated from high school earlier this week.
We are still curious as to why Neal was not in the Shrine Bowl.
Don’t think he enrolled early.
I didn’t buy a program and the rosters online don’t have numbers on them. I got that info from an article on the game but really it don’t surprise me the info is incorrect. I’ve already mentioned about that earlier in this thread. The kid I’m talking about was #40.
Copper also received 1st team all American by sporting news and nc player of year max preps

Kid is super overrated. Wont do much at the next level. Weird why he gets all this hype. Kinston played cupcakes all year
Tyreek cooper had 105 catches for 2,242 yards and 33 receiving touchdowns. That doesn't scream overrated at all. They didn't play cupcakes either, in fact one of the teams that beat them in the regular season, won a state championship
