College roommate was a close neighbor of Tommy Aldridge's family in Pearl, and we got to be backstage for the Whitesnake / Great White concert in Jackson in '87. Hung out with Tommy, Rudy Sarzo, Vivian Campbell, and Adrian Vandenberg, and all the Great White guys before and after the show. All really down to earth guys. Didn't wear the show getup backstage. Just regular clothes. No groupies, no crazy food requests. David Coverdale never showed his face to meet Tommy's mom and sister. He and Kitaen showed up five minutes before the show and she stayed in his private dressing room during the show. Did get to see them come in, though. 10/10 would hit

I still got my FFA jacket from high school and we won first place my freshman an sophomore years in high school at the contests at state in entomology the contests.

I was the king of bugs for two years.

I have no idea if Coverdale is a prick or not. But generally speaking, if you’re playing in the hometown of one of your band mates, you might want to meet his parents.
