    You state there are no rules...and follow it with they little choice but to release them. So basically there are rules. Some programs release the individual, some don't. This part of college recruiting is nothing new.

    NFL and MLB have a collective bargaining agreement. College doesn't and would be difficult to get since each conference is its own league.
