So, why did Tre Singleton leave?

Was NU's offer competitive if you factor in the value (and cost) of a Northwestern degree?

Um we gotta be ranked after this right?

NU seeded 10th in the college football playoff prediction on Wildcat Report. Projected to play 7th seed Ohio State in the first round. (See, somebody likes us.)

    What's the true clock?

I'm sorry but I am very skeptical. Shouldn't the "Official clock" and the scoreboard clock have been synched up prior to what should have been the last play of the game because of its importance at that juncture of the game. I mean it happens frequently during games that the officlials tell the...

    NU vs. NU

Both played solid! They both deserved to win. Happy for Fitzpatrick, rooting for Lipsky to have his day soon!! Interesting that the CBS TV (NBC Golf, CBS Basketball, my bad, thanks for the correction) broadcast ignored the obvious connection between the two!?

    Good and Bad

I would hate to see Blake and Hurlburt forced out. Blake has provided valuable minutes when needed. Hulbert has added muscle and strength in the three years he has been in the program and scored what I believe might have been his career high the other night (4) in less than two minutes and...

Big Ten apologizes, says USC should have been penalized on fake punt ploy

This just makes the whole fake punter incident worse. There is a pattern here! Using deceptive tactics, to break a rule, to gain an advantage. Do something meaningful Big Ten and NCAA!

Big Ten apologizes, says USC should have been penalized on fake punt ploy

At least there was some consequence - eventually. Lincoln Riley should be suspended for at least two games and USC should be denied any post season opportunities. We all know this will not happen. So what is the point of having a rule if it is not enforced at all? It was a big play in the...

    NUFH Cats

NU dominated the time of possession and the game! Iowa was in their zone so seldom they fail\led to be awarded even one penalty corner. 0-0 at halftime but NU scoring a goal in the first minute of the second half set the tone from there on out. Coach Fuchs in her half time interview commented...

    Oregon v Okie State

Oregon is also traveling 2,000 miles to play a game that starts at 9AM their time.

POLL: Who should NU hire to replace Braun after the season?

Two years ago Braun's NU's teams were brutal against Rutgers and Duke early in the season. They turned things around and were the most improved team in the nation beating Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl. It's too early for me to abandon ship. (I especially would not even consider, under any...

Brendan Sullivan CHOKE JOB at the Music City Bowl

I would much rather Sully and Gill played for NU this last season. They moved on for reasons I don't expect to know but can only speculate. Given today's college game, money may have played a roll. I wish them and every former NU player who put on the jersey the best, even as I fervently...

Per Ian Rapoport - deal done B(ill) B(elichick) to NC.

"Deal Done BB to NC" "Whew" When I first saw the headline, I was alarmed. I thought you were talking about Brooks Barnhizer. That's the first "BB" that I think of!

I had no idea there was a website which is all NIL news all the time - part of sports illustrated -

Scholarships count as NIL payments! Wouldn't scholarships counting as NIL payments, put private schools at a significant disadvantage and increase the incentive for large state schools to recruit in-state kids because in-state scholarships cost less? Am I missing something obvious?

My understanding - 12 Scholarships distributed amongst the current 26 player roster.
