    Fan base poll

You need to add Auburn when they are winning to your poll. They have to make sure all of the Georgia and Alabama fans know about it. I grew up in Mississippi and lived in Louisiana, west Georgia, and Birmingham. Traveled consistently for work to those states plus Tennessee and South...

    OT - Covid

I am 41, wife 36, 6 yo, and 21 month old. As far as I know, none of us have had it. Wife has been tested probably 10 times and always come back negative. Wife and I took vaccine before baby was born at the strong urging of her ob doctor because my wife was high risk, and friends neighbor who...

    Why are we playing Wright?

Can we just cut the whole team and load up with “dual sport” athletes of football/baseball and football/basketball players. This is embarrassing. At least if we could have a full roster of baseball and maybe a double roster of basketball players. All full scholarship “walk ons”. As Ron...

To the people that watched on tv

He would have been bowled if he had not “targeted”. That’s their quarterback. I honestly think it caught him off guard that the quarterback was lunging up (like preparing to hurdle him) instead of sliding. If we are going to have that as targeting, I think these mobile...

OT - White Trash Food Peculiarities

Talking about how hard they had it, I remember my grand dad talking about how part of the reason that generation was so willing to volunteer for ww2 was because they didn’t have to worry about how they were going to eat when they joined. All this stuff with mayonnaise sounds just like one of my...

    OT: Flagstone patio

Pricing is completely dependent upon location. More urban typically means more money. Concrete pavers are some of the best bang for Buck you can get. When your stamped concrete cracks, there is no good way to repair. Stamped concrete is probably in the 12-14 dollar a sq ft range As stated...

OT: Low smoke fire pit advice

We put in a fair amount of fire pits. If it’s built in, go gas iunless you just have no way of letting yourself do it. Push a button and you have fire. Turn it off when you are done. If it’s temporary or portable, get whichever smoke less model you like.

    OT: American Labor

I have opinions on this matter, but they are just opinions. I am not educated in this field, but I think that one of two things is going to happen 1. Everyone’s wages eventually go up, which is one of the causes of the inflation we are seeing. This eventually levels out and every pay grade...

OT (whatever this means) paver patio question

Very technical term. Found in section O-M on page 17 of the paver layers hand book.

OT (whatever this means) paver patio question

Professionally I would never use those panels. For a home owner, they may be acceptable to use. They seem like a gimmick to me. We build our base like a miniature highway. The panels are kinda like snow shoes. They just spread the load. They also are a uniform thickness, so in theory, they...

OT (whatever this means) paver patio question

Long time listener, first time caller. When I saw the topic, I had to put the dale’s down, and turn the gas off my green egg so I didn’t burn any mole crickets. 70-80% of my income comes from paver installation. Pedestrian pavers need minimum 4” of base material (example 3/4” crusher run)...
