    The 1968-69 Explorers under the great Tom Gola finished 28-1 and #2 in the final AP poll. Durrett was just a sophomore but they had great seniors in Larry Cannon, Bernie Williams, and Rollie Taylor. Even Fran Dunphy was on that team.

    Harter's 1970-71 Penn team lost only one game. Unfortunately, it was the regional final vs. Villanova and the final score was 90-47. Penn lost only 3 games his last 2 seasons, two of them in the NCAA tournament.

    Supposedlty $3 mill. in NIL was available to keep YKN. When he entered the NBA draft in late May it was too late to use it to build a roster. So a good chunk of that went to McKenna in June. Tough situation for Kraft and Rhoades.

    Exactly. Rhoades promised that PSU would be "bold, different, and aggressive." Think this primarilly meant the full court pressure and trapping D from VCU. Problem is, except for his first season, he never really had the athletes needed to make that work in the B10. He did win 9 B10 games...
