With better clock management Central could have used the last 4 downs to stay on the ground and may have had better success ? We all know the saying " If the dog had not stopped to P he would have caught the rabbit " Great job to the boys in Red .
The young men in RED have really improved . They are still young so only time will tell how much they have matured. Should be a good contest VS Central Woodstock . Look for the the heat to be a factor in this one .
The Non District games will be battles Riverheads will struggle to get Ws . This team looks like the team of the 90s at this point . Plenty of time to right the ship and I hope they can . The young men will need to mature quickly . JMO
" Young team or seniors" Riverheads has a well balanced group young men from freshman to seniors . The first team being the better players but not always . They compete for a starting job . It's not rebuild it's reload .
Very well said ! I may add that new teams to the Championship game often get caught up in all the hoopla and loose focus on the task at hand . With Riverheads it's just the last game on their schedule. GOOD LUCK to both teams .
" They hate on us and we like it that way" , That's how is has been in Greenville for a Loooooooong time ! Only a few elite teams get the hate . It makes for a stronger more determined team . Merry Christmas !
