    When I was in high school, I guess a book report, my English teacher asked why it was named this. I said it was the attitude, jingoism, etc. she counted it wrong and said it was because he was literally ugly as in unattractive. Still irritates me after 55 years

    After continually complaining About that, I was told that the contract has read the same for over 20 years. Forty statewide broadcasts and the remainder local only.

    You sure about the Stats? Remember the concert, the Carters and The arrest but don't remember ever seeing the Statler Brothers. I'd hate to know I saw them and didn't know who they were at the time.

    63-65 everything was at Lee Hall -Johnny Cash, The Lettermen, Mitch Ryder 66-68 mostly Animal Husbandry-Beach Boys, Johnny Mathis, Four Seasons Lettermen very popular and came several times. Current edition still headed by original member Tony Butala

    Actually, all kidding aside, they travel better than they stay Home. They traveled well to Omaha (once every hundred years or so) and to bowls (unless they go over water, apparently)
