I am a huge Big Matt fan and he was very key for our tournament team but "we developed a 2* into an above average defensive center who averaged 5 points per game" isn't gonna hit for many top 100 bigs.
Still early in the season but Page seems really promising. Don't forget Brian James is terrific with bigs. Would be a hell of a recruiting tool to say "USC and Cincinnati couldn't develop 4* talent but we can"

The ref from last night, Paul Szelc, is one of the most whistle-happy refs out there. Was the same ref for Michigan State/UConn (74 free throw attempts) and Loyola/Depaul (82 free throw attempts) exhibitions. Hard to say if Page is particularly foul-prone or if this was a one-off.
