    While it's pretty gray, I lean toward DCB was both surveying his situation, and stomping down grass at the same time, with plausible deniability. It's a bit of a reach to assess the penalty. Judgement call by the R&A.

    The rule seems to simply be, 'did you improve your position', intent doesn't seem to matter except in the court of public opinion of bryson. I do think he improved his position. would they have assessed against Rory? idk.

    BDC improved his position imo, it's unclear to me whether it was intentional or careless. It seems a bit of a reach to make the move to assess the penalty IMO. The whole thing is pretty gray imo.

    France has some really fast, skilled guys, but Paraguay played them tough. I would have rather seen the US play without Belogun, and rally around the adversity. Beating Belgium will be tainted now and has also given Belgium an emotional edge.

    When I've had the shanks, its just some bad muscle memory that is hard for me to get past. Just take some time off, and I'm usually fine after that muscle memory is forgotten.
