    Not really. UGA was #1, I think Bama was #4 after winning SEC title. They kept TCU from dropping a single spot after losing their title game Whereas UGA dropped a spot correction. Bama moved to #1, UGA fell to #3

    What Needs to Happen?

    About the only thing that can be done is change the transfer periods. No transfers until after bowl season and you must play in bowl game, and two weeks at the beginning of summer. It should lessen the negative impact on the bowls and provide schools the opportunity to recruit replacements...
