    Tracking the 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule

Confession: Being of limited and literal mind, I bit on the bait. Went to two schools' sites to see if their dates vs NU were available. I was one of the suckers born every minute, according to P. T. Barnum.

BREAKING: RB Sean Morris is NU's second commit of the day

Sure hope so. I once spent a few hours with Dave at the Cats' fall camp, and he was enjoyable to to be with. I too would be glad if Turk is back with us. (Could never understand the anti-Turk feelings sometimes expressed here.) But then -- at risk of sounding too Will Rogers-like -- I never...

    Trent Liolios

What's the pattern you see? Did another Cat baseballer declare for the portal? (I couldn't see the video in your post.)

    Suggestion

Yes, and I appreciate all of them.

Northwestern Female Golfers Headed to Regional

(I'd asked here before but never saw a reply.) Are any ex-Cats currently on the LPGA circuit?

    Trent Liolios

Interesting and for me, gratifying. Why? Couple of seasons ago the Cats played an early-season 3-game series against U of Houston, and I saw them all. For some reason I started playing "fantasy scout," as if I were there to identify & evaluate individuals' talent. Trent was only a frosh and...

    Augusta National women's Amateur

(Partly OT) Alas, I'm not big on golf either as participant or fan -- but do like to keep track of ex-Cats on various pro tours. Is there any former NU golfer now on the LPGA tour?

    Northwestern's 2025 transfer portal outlook

As you've pointed out in prior post, it's entirely possible that a student transferring into NU with "too many" units on his/her record might not find all credit earned elsewhere is transferable. (Often found when the student is changing majors midstream, as is not uncommon.) What you found...

Ladies take down Buttgers for first conference road win!

What impressed me was how the Cats took a big lead (at or near 20 pts) and saw it fall away. With about 3 min left it seemed certain that Rutgers would win. But then they started missing shots and NU really dominated on the boards and with clean defense. Impressive.

Leach Flagrant II: The number of ways we get jobbed is mind-blowing

Only a hunch -- but it wouldn't be surprising if the rules committee "re-visits" this rule in the off-season. Quite a bit of subjectivity in it, making enforcement hard to officiate. Yesterday there was a highly controversial ejection of Texas Tech player (with resultant dismissal of his...

    Bardo sux

Not quite -- in Houston TX. :D (Actually, Bloomington IN is only about 960 miles away, but close enough.)
  12. W

    Bardo sux

Bardo has about the same effect on Cats' levels of play and game outcomes as I do -- and I live a thousand miles or more from any Big 10 site. To associate him with wins or losses is sheer superstition. Why not sync Dave & Billy's radio broadcast to the video coverage? I prefer Eanet to any...

We should rename this the CoralSpringsCat Board

Perhaps I'm nearly alone in this regard, but this board is usually what I look to first when visiting this site -- especially during fall and spring seasons. My hat's off to CSC for providing links and comments re "other sports." That I usually don't reply doesn't indicate lack of interest...

    SMU QB Preston Stone

Thanks. But is my understanding correct? That NU cannot admit undergrad transfers beyond their academic sophomore years?
