    2026 UK volleyball season

Just read that UK and volleyball head coach Craig Skinner have agreed to a contract extension through 2031. Great move for both parties. Meanwhile, the volleyball team is now 15-3 on the season, 7-1 in conference, and back up to # 3 in the country. Their next match is Wednesday, October 21st...

Found in the wild. I’m not really a fan of Techno, but this a so freaking cool I can’t help but like it. Especially since it’s performed by real musicians on real instruments, not just something generated by a computer program.

    2026 UK volleyball season

UK Volleyball team is now 3-1 in conference play (11-3 overall) after losing on the road to Flori-duh in 5 sets last night. I recorded that match and was hoping to watch it today. But as with all sports that I record, I'm going to have to delete it now that I know it's a loss. It's bad mojo to...

Digging on Doyle Bramhall II today. I think he’s a brilliant song writer, and an underrated left handed guitar player. Love this one for the fuzzed out guitar tone. Haven’t we all been looking for a green light girl? And I just dig everything about this one.

    2026 UK volleyball season

The volleyball team is currently 9-2 on the season, and now 1-0 in SEC play after taking out Vandy earlier this week. Still ranked #3 in the country. Tough matchup tomorrow when they play #7 Texas. Tomorrow's match will air on ESPN at 1:00. Not sure how many eyes will be on the game because most...

    2026 UK volleyball season

The volleyball team is now 7-2 after their trip to the Bahamas, losing to SMU yesterday, then beating Houston earlier today. After watching several matches so far this season I must say I’m impressed with the talent on this roster. None more than the libero, Molly Tuozzo. Such a phenomenal...

    2026 UK volleyball season

College volleyball played....outdoors? Yep! Tomorrow will be UK's second match in the SEC vs Big Ten Challenge. And it will take place outdoors at Wrigley Field in Chicago. # 3 UK vs # 13 Penn State. Game time 7pm ET, and televised on Fox. Should be interesting!

Agreed! He’s definitely the best head coach on campus, based on results.

    2026 UK volleyball season

The volleyball team is now 3-1 after wins against Utah St and South Florida. In that last match, head coach Craig Skinner got his 500th win. His career record stands at 500-157. Next match is tonight at 7:00. It’s a home match and part of SEC vs Big Ten challenge as they take on UCLA. Game will...

OK, I’m happy again. Not sure why my brain wasn’t functioning well enough to go to the ESPN app. Found it and I’m watching now. Thanks!

    2026 UK volleyball season

I am both happy and a tad pissed today. Happy that yesterday my favorite volleyball team #3 UK beat #6 Wisconsin three sets to none, 25-20, 26-24 and 25-18. Pissed that my DVR failed to record the match. I was really looking forward to watching it. Next chance to see them on TV is tomorrow at...

    RIP: FRANK BEARD

RIP, Frank Beard. Saw ZZ Top back in 1979 and it was the loudest concert I've ever attended. Every bass note and every strike on the kick drum made my rib cage rattle. And it was fantastic.
