WVU needs to move to the SEC

You seem to be a person interested in historical truth. Upthread somewhere I saw someone-- I won't go look to see who it was-- posted that the Missouri Tigers mascot originated as a group of pro-Confederate "home guard" or militia fighting on the side of the South. This is patently false and...

Igorant to shrug off mighty Big 12

We're sure glad to have WVU in the league Cuyahoga Falls, wish the travel wasn't such a drag on your end. In both major sports you were a high quality add, great tradition and fans, and who can argue with that rifle team? Best wishes the rest of the way

So much for that "non D1 qb". 532 yards passing 5td's 2int's

A bottle of grape soda sounds pretty good right now. And some pickles. Just can't get good pickles out here in Kansas.

The Big 12??????

It's their own fault they covered up the Mixon scandal and that it blew up in their face yesterday, but anybody who pretends that OU team out there wasn't playing in the middle of a Twitter/Internet sh@tstorm of Mass Distraction that affected their focus and spirit doesn't know much about...

Kansas State loss. Putting things into perspective

Well, you are wrong about the first premise at least. Bill Snyder is a HOF coach and I can guarantee you that 9 times out of ten on fourth and one he would have his QB, injured or otherwise, run the ball. But straight up the middle behind a huge offensive line push.

I tried preparing you guys. KState is a good team

I'm biased of course but Bill Snyder always makes me think of what my dad used to say to his buddies who would ask him how our family business was doing. We weren't rich or anything but my old man was pretty smart and we always made out better than most. So when anybody would ask he'd say...

GAME THREAD Official Game Thread -- WVU vs Kansas State

K-State fan here. WR Cody Cook came in at the beginning of the second half for us against Okie State when Hubener got hurt the first time and damn near won that game for us. He's got a way better arm accuracy than Hubener but not the vision or running ability. A lot of guts, tough kid.

Welcome to Wildcatland!

Coach Snyder was inducted into the HOF just last year iirc. This has been a bad year for us injury-wise and talent-wise but hopefully we'll be able to give you a good game in spite of it all. Might come down to whether your boys want to knock us out of a bowl game worse than ours want to get...
