    Franklin went on 4th and 1 from his own 30 against Kentucky in a bowl game. It failed and Kentucky went on to win. Paterno also went for it deep in his own territory in a bowl game against Florida State in1967. That one failed, too. The Seminoles scored and the game ended in a tie.

    How was everyone's experience with Peacock?

    No problems. Announcers were making calls even when game got out of hand. Network promos were limited to time outs and between quarters. Only complaint was 2 or 3 times cameras were late getting back to live action after replays.

    I carry money and passport in a pouch attached to my belt covered by a shirt. I carry a "fake wallet" in my back pocket -- an old wallet with expired credit cards and insurance cards and maybe a dollar or two, or whatever the local currency.none of the expired cards have my current address.

    Some recent threads have me thinking. What game do you think was fixed.

    Not a game, but the 1985 NBA draft lottery giving Patrick Ewing to the Knicks. Bent and possibly frozen Knicks card placed in drum, making it stand out from the other six cards. The auditing firm running the lottery also had Knicks' owner as a client.
