100%. Love Hurts and am thankful for all he’s done for Philly. But he’s not single handedly winning them games with a depleted roster making $55 million a year. They win another title by finding the next Jalen Hurts making rookie money and building a talented offense around him.

Wow. I hope his health turns out ok. This is serious sounding. Blow it up now. This season is lost for them. Get the top 10 pick next year, get guys healthy and try to rebuild.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!! ‘26 Birds - Carolina Panthers game thread

The annual “Fire Nick Sirianni” chants may have more bite this year. You learn a lot about a coach and staff when things don’t go well. Nick and this staff look like they have zero ideas or answers. Things get worse by the week. There are an ungodly number of injuries on offense, but the staff...

They’re getting old and play will inevitably head in the wrong direction. We saw this movie in 2019 and 2020. The fact that Howie already did this then and has referenced it as a philosophy leads me to believe he’ll be a seller here.

I think Howie has to blow it up now. Hurts is likely out for 5-6 games. 2-8 when he’s first eligible to return feels possible with the way the offense looks. They aren’t coming back from that this year. May as well ship a few veterans with value for draft picks. His 2028 draft pick strategy is...

Oof. The offense just has nobody remotely dangerous looking today. McKee has happy feet and can’t find the few weapons he has with the poor OL play.

It’s going to be a long season for us Eagles and Penn State fans. Both squads feel like rebuilds.

It’s beginning to look like Kraft won’t survive this. Between the program being a complete rebuild and the new stadium pricing kicking in, it feels inevitable that he’s toast. He took a big shot and Campbell may still work out, but the way it all went down doomed the program to a few years of...

Nothing like a get-right win against an awful Penn State team. Sigh.

FIFA President proposes selling stake in future World Cup revenues

Most fans understand that soccer is the most corrupt sport outside of boxing. None of this is surprising. Just wait until the Balogun red card reversal is linked to this.

    2026 Phillies Thread

Dombrowski and Middleton are driving the ship into the rocks. They will literally run it back again and wonder why the Phils miss the playoffs. It may be for the best. No top manager will want to take on this roster. They are beached due to bad contracts.

    2026 Eagles Thread

This is why I lean toward the blow it up and rebuild approach this season and next. We saw the same thing in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. This defense is much better, but there are parallels on offense. It’s going to be a bumpy couple of years while they cycle much of this dead cap money off the...

    2026 Eagles Thread

It’s early in the week, but there are encouraging reports that Barkley, Smitty and Dickerson should be back next game. That would help the offense.

    Campbell Question....

Iowa over the past few years isn’t close to the standard needed at Penn State. It’s early, but the questions about Penn State being too big for Campbell are justified. He’s a low-key and quiet guy. This is a big media circus type of program. I worry that he’s a good coach, but just not cut out...
